Believe

"Have faith in God," Jesus answered."I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Mark 11:22 - 24

This week I encourage you to expand your capacity to believe. Not for evil but for the best that God has for you. We serve a good God who delights in the prosperity of His children.

Consider this: If you are a parent, godparent or have a custodial relationship with a child, don't you want the absolute best for this child? That's the way God is. He wants the absolute best for us and He's proved it by giving us His best - Jesus Christ. Now if God did not deny us His only son, will He not freely give us all things (Romans 8:32).

Faith is currency in the kingdom of God. It is by faith that we receive the promises of God and see His kingdom principles operate in our lives. You can only receive from God that which you have the ability to believe.

Think about it. We are called Believers. This is our spiritual inheritance in Christ Jesus. God declares that it is impossible to please him without faith because those that seek Him must believe that He exists and rewards those that diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).

God is pleased with your faith. If you are in a position of believing God for something that only He can do, rest in knowing that He is pleased. If you continue to diligently seek Him on the matter - having utter confidence in Him and His Word - He will reward your faith. I am a witness. So...be encouraged!
