Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1 (NIV)
Faith is fundamental to the believer. It is moving beyond what is seen and operating in what is unseen. Further in Hebrews, it declares that it is impossible to please God without faith. God is pleased with our faith. Isn't it good to know that our faith pleases God? As Christians, God requires us to live a life of faith. I believe that some events in our lives are orchestrated to cause us to trust and believe God. Have you found yourself in such a situation...one that seemingly appears hopeless? Have you exhausted your means and come to the end of yourself? It is time to turn it over to God.
The Bible is replete with stories of desperate persons who dared to believe God and realized miraculous results. If you would recall the woman who had an issue of blood for 12 long years. It was her faith that made her whole. She had declared within herself, "If I could just touch the hem of his garment, I will be made whole." She came to this conclusion only after she had exhausted all her resources. What is your long-standing issue? Have you turned it over to God? God is not void of power; are you void of faith? It is our unwavering faith that moves the hand of God.
This week I encourage you to believe God for the "issue" in your life. I don't know what the issue is. It could be an unsaved spouse, sickness, believing for a husband, desiring to have a child or praying for deliverance of a child. It doesn't matter what it is, just know that it is not too hard for God. God declares in his word that nothing is impossible for him that believes. Believe God...take Him at his word...and brace yourself for a miracle!
