Supply

ree

This scripture concludes a story about a widow who was in the throes of a financial crises. She went to the man of God because her husband was dead and had debts outstanding. The debtors were at her door demanding that she turn over her sons to be sold into slavery in order to pay off the debt.

The man of God, Elisha, instructed her to take inventory of what she had in her house - a little oil. After that she was told to borrow all the jars she could from her neighbors and fill them up. The oil flowed as long as she had jars, however, when she ran out of jars the oil stopped flowing.

What is your financial crisis today or source of lack? Seek God on the matter and whatever He instructs you to do, do it quickly because your obedience is key to tapping into God's supply. His supply is inexhaustible. The widow woman had a little oil, but when she obeyed the instructions of the prophet and presented what she had to God, He met her need abundantly.

During this time of economic uncertainty and financial lack, I encourage each of you to present your jars - talents, ability, finances, etc., to God. He will take it, bless it and multiply it so that your needs are met.

Be encouraged today that there is no financial lack with God. Present to Him your jars and let Him pour the anointing oil of the Holy Spirit upon it.
